You can choose to begin the Gibraltar Rock Tour from a number of points such as the border, the airport, the cruise terminal, the marina or from Main Street. 

Please note that a number of attractions in Gibraltar have different opening and closing times depending on the season. The hours are as follows:

 - Summer Hours: 9 am to 6 pm.

 - Winter Hours: 9 am to 5 pm.

The Standard Tour is ideal for those on a budget or those who would like a concise look at some of Gibraltar's most famous landmarks. The legendary Pillars of Hercules provide a fantastic view across the Bay of Gibraltar with spectacular views of North Africa on clear days. St. Michael's Cave is an awe inspiring network of natural caves which is also regularly used to host a number of events thanks to the fantastic acoustics found within. The apes den is home to the only wild population of apes found in Europe. Finally the Great Siege Tunnels offer an authentic look at the formidable British defenses constructed during the Great Siege of Gibraltar which were vital in nullifying Spanish attempts to reclaim the Rock during the American Revolutionary War.

The Extended Tour is perfect for those seeking to experience a wide range range of attractions and a good mix of Gibraltar's ancient as well as more modern history. Europa Point offers fantastic views from the southern tip of the peninsular and features the only lighthouse under the auspices of Trinity House outside the UK and Channel Islands. The 100 Ton Gun meanwhile is an impressive piece of Victorian engineering. Finally the Moorish Castle is a fine example of past Moorish power on the Iberian peninsular.

The Intermediate Tour is ideal for those with a bit more time to spare who would like to visit the Rock's most famous landmarks as well as experience a slice of local life. Apart from the sites visited in the Standard and Extended Tours this tour also includes a drive around the Rock of Gibraltar with its contrasting developed west side and more tranquil east side. The drive around the rock also passes through the runway of the Gibraltar airport, one of the most unique airports on the planet with one of Gibraltar's main roads passing through its runway.

The WWII Rock & Fortress tour is aimed at those with a keen interest in military history, which Gibraltar has in abundance. O'Hara's Battery consists of 9.2 inch guns situated on the top of the Rock and constructed in order to control the Strait of Gibraltar during World War 2. The Military Heritage Centre meanwhile houses a fascinating array of military artifacts. Finally the engineering achievement that is the World War 2 Tunnels were constructed by British and Commonwealth engineers during World War 2 and effectively turned the Rock itself into a huge bunker.
