Pillars of Hercules
One of the legendary Pillars of Hercules. This spot, weather permitting, offers a great opportunity to take a number of unforgettable photographs of the renowned Strait of Gibraltar, the southern side of the Upper Rock and of the coast of North Africa.
St. Michael's Cave
St. Michael’s Cave is one of the Rock's most prevalent tourist sites, and it is also used as an awe-inspiring auditorium, which recurrently plays host to a number of important functions.

Great Siege Tunnels
The Great Siege Tunnels were the first tunnels to be excavated in the Rock. These tunnels were used during the Great Siege of Gibraltar, which took place between 1779 and 1783.
Catalan Village Photo Stop
Originally settled by Catalan soldiers who assisted the Anglo-Dutch force in the capture of Gibraltar in 1704 Catalan Village was then settled by Genoese fishermen with Genoese being spoken in this part of Gibraltar until the early 20th century.

Europa Point
Take a photo of Northern Africa and Southern Spain across the legendary Strait of Gibraltar. The prominent Gibraltar lighthouse is also located at Europa Point.The Gibraltar Lighthouse was constructed entirely of hewn stone and it has been in operation since the 1st of August 1841. The Gibraltar lighthouse is the only one under the auspices of Trinity House outside of Britain and the Channel Islands.
100 Ton Gun
The 100 Ton Gun is an impressive concrete open battery with its respective magazines located just below.The 1879 100-TON ARMSTRONG R.M.L. GUN, as per its inscription, was renovated and mounted as a place of historical interest in June 1963.
The Moorish Castle
For hundreds of years people approaching Gibraltar have been awed by the sight of a great square keep right up in the hillside. The tower dates back to the early 14th century and was both one of the first and one of the last bastions of Moorish power in Iberia.
O'Hara's Battery (Top of the Rock)
O’Hara’s Battery consists of 9.2 inch guns situated on top of the Rock, 426 meters above sea level. Used during the Second World War, its solitary resolve was to control the Strait of Gibraltar.

World War 2 Tunnels
Royal Engineers came to Gibraltar, after Dunkirk in August 1940, to construct a substantial and intricate network of tunnels within the fortress of the Rock. Walk in the footsteps of heroes through parts of the 51 km (32 mi) of tunnels, which, for many back then, was a city within a city.
City Under Siege Exhibition
The area known as Willis' Magazine and the buildings in which this exhibition is housed in are some of the earliest buildings constructed during British rule. The exhibits detail military and civilian life during the 18th century and contain original graffiti left by soldiers on watch, including the architect of the Great Siege Tunnels Sergeant Major Ince.

Enjoy VAT free shopping with low prices for tobacco, alcohol, perfume, jewellery and electronics. Choose from a large variety of pubs, bars and restaurants and don't forget to pop into Roy's Fish & Chips located at Casemates Square for the best fish and chips in Gibraltar.
Shrine of Our Lady of Europe
The Shrine of Our Lady of Europe is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Our Lady of Europe, the patroness of Gibraltar. It belongs to the European Marian Network, a network of 20 Roman Catholic sanctuaries across Europe.
The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens
The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, also known as The Alameda Gardens, is a botanical garden in Gibraltar spanning an area of about 6 hectares. First opened to the public in 1816 the gardens now host an impressive number of tree and plant species as well as a zoo and is a popular alternative location for weddings.
The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens can only be explored on foot.
Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque
The Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque also known as the King Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud Mosque or the Mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is the southernmost mosque in continental Europe. The building was a gift from King Fahd of Saudi Arabia and was officially inaugurated on the 8th of August, 1997.
Gibraltar Museum
The Gibraltar Museum was opened in 1930 by the then Governor of Gibraltar, Sir Alexander Godley. The museum has in its collection artefacts spanning Gibraltar's entire history. From a replica of the Gibraltar skull, one of the first Neanderthal skulls to be excavated, to an 1865 model of the Rock, the Gibraltar Museum has exhibitions covering Gibraltar's past, culture and natural history.
Dolphin Adventure
The Bay of Gibraltar has a thriving population of dolphins. Attracted by the Bay's deep waters and plentiful food supply there are a large number of dolphins present in and around Gibraltar's waters all year round.
